Purpose: The single phase "A" Base Converter was developed to allow utilities to replace obsolete "A" Base meters without replacing the existing service panels. This device permits the utility to install a variety of 4, 5, or 6 jaw, state of the art, electric meters that are commonly used today. The "A" Base Converters are designed for five different 100 amp applications. Volume discounts are available.
