SERVICE LIMITER

Purpose: The Service Limiter is a device that offers utilities an additional alternative in handling delinquent customers. This device permits the utility to continue providing electric service while limiting the amount of potential consumption. The Service Limiter capability is housed in a modified meter extension housing. This device contains one of two circuit breakers, (depending on application). When installed, the circuit breakers limit the maximum current carrying capability of the device to the rating of the circuit breaker.

The Service Limiter is configured to function in one of three applications; 2 wire - 120 volt, 3 wire - 120 volt, or 3 wire - 240 volt. The amperage ratings list is available by calling Marwell at 909-794-4192.

Ordering Instructions: The Service Limiters are shipped in standard packages of 8 adapters. Individual adapters are available at a slightly higher unit price and volume discounts are available.
