“STORAGE” adapter for PSD Disconnects

0802_1The Marwell Portable Safety Disconnect is a safe and convenient method of disconnecting a clamp jaw bypass customer under load. After the service has been disconnected an extension adapter must remain clamped in the meter socket jaws. Sometimes the meter will be removed from the site, but more commonly it will be booted and inserted back into the adapter for storage.

 

 

 

imageMarwell has a better answer. We created a special adapter for residential PSD disconnects that includes a storage jaw to hold the meter in an “out of service” position. It’s a simple idea that works. Ask for a sample of the 1000-0-R4/5-PSD.
