Finally, one meter for all applications, CT and SELF CONTAINED*

Marwell is pleased to announce a new family of meter socket adapters called the 96 Series. Each adapter in the 96 Series has been designed to allow the retrofitting of the new form 9S-Self Contained meter into existing self contained meter sockets. The unit is built upon the field proven design of the Marwell, UL listed, 600V Rated, Model E/Z 1000-O-R7 adapter. The potential jumper connections are available in two basic versions. Internally hardwired in the adapter or externally connected with a Molex plug. The Molex plug option is configured to directly connect to the new Voltage Transformer Package (VT Pack) from Two Sockets-Two Meters, Inc. - 605-334-2924. The VT Pack will drop the metering potential of 480V self-contained services to 240V, allowing safe metering without the expense of CT rated service.
  • Simplicity & Safety, no socket rewiring required.
  • Doess not de-rate the service rating of the meter socket.
  • Based upon the field proven Marwell E/Z 1000-0-R7, UL listed, 600V Rated, adapter.
  • The only adapter available that is rated for 600V service.
  • UL recognized components used throughout the assembly including all wire and connectors.
  • Several model variations, all adapting a 13 Terminal self-contained meter into a 4, 5, 7, or 8 jaw self-contained socket.
  • Options include Weatherproof RJ-11 Telephone jack with provision for utility seal.
  • Simple installation, either temporary or permanent.
  • Priced well under the cost of a new socket.

    *NOTE: The "Form 96" meter is a commonly used identifying name for a FORM 9S, SELF CONTAINED meter. The Form 96 meter is a three element meter that can be applied equally to both CT and Self Contained applications. It is a true combination of a FORM 9 (the 9) and a FORM 16 (the 6).
